As we are between seasons - and not much is happening right now - I was thinking what could be a better use for our Blog than to start a collection of FNF Blood Bowl Truisms that we have all observed over the last three or so seasons of the FNF.
- The player that scores the biggest victory in the Round 1 will not take out the championship.
- Fouling and Winning are usually mutually exclusive.
- Players with AG 2 (or less) are alarmingly good at intercepting passes.
- There is no such thing as too much Guard on a team.
- A player that needs just 1 SPP to level up will remain there for at least two games.
- A Goblin Toss for a TD is the most awesome thing in the game....
- ....but Goblins still totally suck.
- The chance of recovering after being Knocked Out is inversely proportional to how vital the player is to your team.
- There is a one in six chance of rolling a 1 on a D6. Yet I always consider myself outrageously unlucky whenever it happens.
- Most Dwarf players look exactly the same and can even confuse their own Coaches.
- Picking up a stationary football is a surprisingly difficult task in the Blood Bowl universe.
- Apothecaries are dangerous quacks who are not be relied upon.
- The greatest player to ever appear in FNF remains Morphare the Lethal.
I'm sure you all have your own that can be added to list.
