As we are between seasons - and not much is happening right now - I was thinking what could be a better use for our Blog than to start a collection of FNF Blood Bowl Truisms that we have all observed over the last three or so seasons of the FNF.
- The player that scores the biggest victory in the Round 1 will not take out the championship.
- Fouling and Winning are usually mutually exclusive.
- Players with AG 2 (or less) are alarmingly good at intercepting passes.
- There is no such thing as too much Guard on a team.
- A player that needs just 1 SPP to level up will remain there for at least two games.
- A Goblin Toss for a TD is the most awesome thing in the game....
- ....but Goblins still totally suck.
- The chance of recovering after being Knocked Out is inversely proportional to how vital the player is to your team.
- There is a one in six chance of rolling a 1 on a D6. Yet I always consider myself outrageously unlucky whenever it happens.
- Most Dwarf players look exactly the same and can even confuse their own Coaches.
- Picking up a stationary football is a surprisingly difficult task in the Blood Bowl universe.
- Apothecaries are dangerous quacks who are not be relied upon.
- The greatest player to ever appear in FNF remains Morphare the Lethal.
I'm sure you all have your own that can be added to list.
Dave
The funniest thing is seeing a player GFI into the End Zone to score the winning TD but falling over, breaking armour and killing themselves.
ReplyDeleteAhh One more to add...
ReplyDelete* Each game you are guaranteed to roll 1 double 6 and 6 double 1's
Well Team its time to get those teams warming up ready for FNF V !!
ReplyDeleteThe game is now listed and ready for you to join. The password is "aussie" which although being very boring sums us all up!
Please add your teams and I will check them over and sign them up for next season.
I will be the Commisioner...make that the Sheriff this season and will have a few deputies who I will introduce as we go forward.
Good luck in Friday Night Fight V and may all your rolls be 6's!
