F*&king French BB Ruination
I can't take it any more. Just for a bit of fun I took Morphere and his ratties for a run in the Auld World League. A charming French Dwarf accepted my challenge and wish me Bon Chance . . . whatever. He played like we were in the trences in flanders 1916, happy not to move as long as he kept the ball, so much so that after ko'ing no less than 6 players in the first half he stalled on my line until the final turn . . . . 2 turns of waiting. I F*&KING HATE THAT CRAP. After recieving in the second half i took 1 turn and a Morphere sprint to even it up. Surprisingly he then set up shop and boxed his way to the end zone. I was left with only 3 players in quick time. and he still crawled forward with a box ..... and scored last turn. Now I know winning is what counts but F*&K me it bores me to death. Morphere is still awesome (last player standing and almost got the ball back) but he is being put away in case a Frenchie bores him to death.

Preaching to Choir. I inwardly groan whenever an MM game shows I've been paited with an French sounding team name.
ReplyDeleteThey play a weird (f@#ked-up) version of the game that seems to demand they score only in turn 8 and/or turn 16. And will starting fouling from Turn 14 onwards. I utterly loath it.
The only joy in playing against the French occurs when you manage stuff up their TD, which they could have scored four turns earlier.
A few month after the game first came out, I saw someone post on the Public Chat page.
"For the Love of God, can all Frenchman stop playing this game immediately. Signed The Rest of the World"
I couldn't agree more.

ReplyDeleteOk, I feel for you, and can say it happened to me also in an Auld world match for the first half, due to a really bad crowd pitch invasion, where he had gaps galore and fouled and kicked my remaining guys.. at half time I had 4 guys to come on, and he led 1-0 due to the stalling game.
ReplyDeleteSecond half he kicked off, and I managed to score against him in 3 turns. My comment was "Dude you must feel like you really suck considering your tactics and me managing to score against you with 4 guys. No comment, and I ended up holding him out for a 1-1 draw. His last turn I made a comment about offering him a kleenex!
