I was going to try and write a very eloquent match report this time around, but quite frankly the game and my performance were so poor, that I can't be bothered.
Suffice to say, I started the game with ten healthy players, with one coming back next week.
I now have eight healthy players, a Lineelf who died, but got better, only to then receive a fractured skull (-1 AV), another lineman with a pinched nerve, and a Wardancer with a smashed collar bone (-1 ST).
In retrospect, I probably should have waved goodbye and shed a tear for Ballay, the unfortuante lineelf, as he would be replaced by a journeyman, and saved the apothecary for a positional player (like the Wardancer, maybe).
The more players that left the field, the more risks I had to take, and the more my guys decided to fall down.
To add insult to injury, the scoreline was 4-0, and I earned a grand 20,000 coins for the performance (Same as last week, though I received 60,000 somehow).
But on the bright side, I managed to repeat the outstanding performance I pulled off last week with regard to star player points. That's right! One SPP from a sole completion on the last turn of the game, and the MVP. If I keep going like this, I might have as many as four or five skills by the end of this set of games!
Well done to Beldenox on his performance. His Ghouls were dodging like Elves should, compared to my players who seemed to have lead in their feet.
I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I played the first game quite aggressively, and it cost me. I was more restrained this time around, and got beaten up worse this time...
To my next opponent, you should have a field day against me... :-D
Cheers,
Nestyr
