Earlier (much earlier) in the week, the Couronne Saints defeated Maxwell's Golden Hammer 2-0.
A full replay of the match is available on Cabalvisions - well worth watching, if only to see the Saints' Ogre, Fulimodo, pass the ball for a Touch Down right on full time!!
The fact that Fulimodo, who also killed the Hammers werewolf, Nigel Piledriver, did not receive the MVP is another nail in the coffin for the match officials' credibility.
