Feel free to ignore this, but I hope you don't...
I would consider you all to be the best (and, of course, worst) group of people to put this to. You've all played me this season, and several of you have played me in the table top game on more than one occasion.
What I am asking for is constructive advice on how to make me a better Blood Bowl coach. "Why should I help you, when I play against you?", I hear you ask? There's really no good reason, other than I will, hopefully, be able to give you a better game next time we play.
I've been playing Blood Bowl for a long time now (close to 30-odd years, actually!), on the table top and on my PC, but I don't think I'm as good a coach as I should be. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've become a worse coach over the past couple of years, losing games that I really should have won.
So if you have any constructive comments (other than the obvious "you suck, that's why"...) I'd appreciate them. If comments are constructive, I won't be offended. Also, I'd appreciate pointers to any resources regarding coaching that are out there on the web (I already know of plasmoid's play books, the NAF, the old and new Blood Bowl Tactics sites, FUMBBL, Cyanide's forum, AUSbowl and Talk Fantasy Football, and will be going to them looking for articles and posts on coaching).
Please bear in mind that I like to play a high-risk/high-reward game, and am willing to take chances to pull off a great play.
Perhaps I just need to get back to basics, and then try some of those things that rookie coaches try because they don't know any better (as they seem to come off more often when you don't know how difficult the success roll is... :-)

P.S.: Do all the current coaches know about this blog? There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on here these days.
