Twicksters vs SeaHawks

Friday night was a spectacle of elf on elf action as two of the lower ranked elf teams clashed. Twicksters having recently found their form after the wise addition of the thrower Castien Nooros, were slowly moving up the ladder, while The Cheesy Seahawks were fresh off a win against their high elf brothers the Phoenix Flyer's, and a draw against the Wasteland Runners two of the top teams this season.

After a delayed start due to stadium technical issues, the Twicksters elected to kick, having a pre-prepared blitz up their sleeve. By the time the ball was down, so were several of the high elf players. This proved to be a game winning tactic for the Twicksters, eventually managing to steal the ball from the high elves, and inflicting several casualties and KOs in the process.

The second kick for the half saw a much smaller High elf team take the pitch, who struggled to beat the Pro Elf Defenses. The Whistle blew half time with the high elfs in possession only yards from the touch down line.

The second half saw twicksters leading 1-0, and receiving the ball, both teams offense were in full gear, the SeaHawks managing to revive a few players, and work around their lack of numbers with superb passing plays. There was some speculation that the High elf catchers were taking some illegal substances, for there was no dodge to risky, and no catch to high for them to make.

The two Elf teams traded touchdowns as if they just enjoyed seeing each other run from end to end, and pass the ball half the field with precision. The deciding factor was the Pro elf ability to keep the high elves on the ground, and blitz deep into the opposing half.

The whistle blew with as the high elf thrower tossed the ball high and far to a waiting catcher at the halfway line, ending the doubts as to who had the best passing game in the league, the Sea Hawks now 42 yards above the Phoenix flyer's in passing plays. The Final score was 4-2 to the Twicksters, pushing them up several spots on the ladder, from 11th last round to just scraping into the top eight in front of the Amazons.
